“ This Hector's deserves at least 3.5 stars so I'm rounding up to 4. I've been to the other location on Main and this place has more of a fun atmosphere and a full bar. One guy was manning the restaurant and did a fantastic job taking care of us and the three other parties dining on an early Sunday afternoon. The Banda band didn't come on till much later (6pm), so it was quiet enough for us to talk. The jalapeños stuffed with shrimp and cheese, oysters caliente and ceviche were delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and we'd return for the band, drinks and seafood! ”

It's definitely one of my go to's in DTSA on a Sunday night when everywhere else is closing down. Hector's just feels like home with the friendly staff and the talented players bumping music all night long. Food is decent but you come here for the vibe.
